BLUE MARINE ALGAE REACTOR 1200

Blue Marine Algae Reactor 1200 is designed for cultivating macroalgae such as Chaetomorpha in a closed reactor system. As the algae grow, they absorb excess dissolved nutrients from the aquarium water, especially nitrates and phosphates, providing a natural and chemical‑free filtration method.

The reactor features a high‑efficiency quartz‑protected LED Grow tube that delivers optimal light for algae growth. An opaque internal tube directs the light precisely to the growth chamber and prevents light spill into the sump. The lighting system is fully waterproof (IP68), ensuring safe operation in aquarium environments.

Macroalgae metabolism helps stabilize pH levels throughout the day, reduce dissolved CO₂, and maintain or increase dissolved oxygen levels compared to filtration systems relying only on protein skimming. The Algae Reactor 1200 is ideal for medium to large reef aquariums with higher nutrient loads.
