Gehyra vorax Ambon Gecko

Gehyra vorax is an arboreal gecko native to Indonesia. The species spends much of its time climbing on vertical surfaces, tree trunks and branches within its habitat.

A suitable enclosure should provide ample climbing opportunities, cork bark, branches and multiple hiding places. A tall enclosure allows the gecko to display natural behaviour and remain active.

Its diet consists of insects and other appropriately sized feeder animals. A varied diet combined with calcium and vitamin supplementation supports healthy growth and long-term wellbeing.
