Sera Spare module for Sera Air 275R + 550R

A complete replacement kit for the sera air plus air pump: for the air 275 R plus and air 550 R plus.

Why a module rather than a bare membrane: in sera air plus pumps the membrane is replaced as a module. The module holds the membrane and the parts that wear with it, ready assembled, so the pump does not have to be taken apart and individual valve flaps do not have to be hunted down.

When a replacement is due: when the air output has clearly dropped and the air filter has already been checked. The membrane stiffens and cracks over time; it is the only real wearing part of an air pump.

Mind the quantity: the manufacturer states that the air 550 R plus requires two modules, while the air 275 R plus takes one. The larger pump therefore has two membrane units, and both should be changed at once so that the pressure stays even.
