A heated rock for terrariums, rated 5 W, size 15.5 × 10 cm.

The rock imitates a stone warmed by the sun. In nature stones stay warm for several hours after sunset, and many reptiles – nocturnal species included – use exactly this conductive heat to regulate their body temperature. That heat matters for metabolism and digestion.

The heating element is fully encased in the rock and covers the whole stone, so no hotspots form. Electronic control shuts the heating off automatically when the surface reaches a certain temperature – this prevents burns and overheating.

The material is thermally conductive resin: waterproof, non-toxic, easy to clean and even in its heat distribution. The rock suits both humid and dry terrariums and can be connected to an Exo Terra thermostat.

Leave enough cool area in the terrarium so the animal can choose its temperature.
