A worm dish for small feeder worms, 10 × 8.5 × 4.5 cm. The size is meant for buffalo worms, which are smaller than ordinary mealworms.

Mealworms have to be contained when they go into the terrarium. Otherwise they quickly dig into the substrate and disappear. Some pupate into a beetle the animal will not eat, but most simply die in the substrate and decompose – which produces exactly the bacterial growth you do not want in a terrarium.

The edge ring keeps the worms in while the animal can see the food the whole time. Vitamin and mineral powder can be added to the dish, and any excess powder can be reused.

The dish is made in two parts, which makes cleaning easier.
