Sera multi-purpose valve for 130/130+UV E

A multi-function valve for the sera fil bioactive 130 and 130 + UV external filters. Union nuts are included.

What the valve does: it is the connection between the filter and the hoses, and it can be closed and disconnected in one movement. When the filter goes for cleaning the hoses do not have to come off and the tank does not siphon – the valve keeps the water in the hoses.

When to replace it: when the valve starts to leak, when its lever no longer closes tightly, or when the plastic body has cracked. A leaking valve shows as small trickles under the filter and it always gets worse.

Check the model: this valve is for the smallest models of the range, the 130 and 130 + UV. The 250, 250 + UV and 400 + UV have a valve of their own in a different size.
