An adjustable internal filter with a fine mesh filter sponge. Model F 400 of the range.

The smallest of the range. The range has three models, F 400, F 700 and F 1200, and the output of every one of them is steplessly adjustable.

How it works: an intake pipe is attached to the intake side of the pump and draws the water through a fine mesh sponge. The sponge does two things at once: it keeps larvae and juvenile fish out of the pump and removes fine particles from the water. A biologically active zone for nitrifying bacteria forms inside the sponge.

About the range: the adjustable F range is based on the sera P range submersible pumps, and as in those, the output is adjustable. Mounting is by the suction cups supplied.
