Aquaforest Phosphate Minus is a highly effective filtration media designed to remove phosphate (PO₄) and silicate from marine and reef aquariums. Excess phosphate is one of the most common causes of nuisance algae, cyanobacteria outbreaks, and reduced coral growth. Phosphate Minus helps maintain optimal nutrient levels and supports long-term reef stability.

Directions for Use

• Use 25–100 ml per 100 liters (27 US gallons) of aquarium water
• Place in a media reactor for best performance
• Recommended water flow: minimum 400 l/h
• Can also be used passively in a filter media bag
• Replace every 4 weeks or when phosphate levels begin to rise

Important Notes

• Do not rinse before use.
• The brown dust present in the media is an active phosphate-binding component and is completely harmless.
• Temporary slight water discoloration may occur and will disappear naturally after a short period.
