A background poster is the cheapest way to change the whole look of a tank. Changing the stones and ornaments means taking the layout apart and disturbing the fish, but the background is changed from outside the glass in a few minutes.

For changing it, gel serves better than tape: a poster fixed with gel comes off whole and can be used again later.
