A background poster for the aquarium, 120 x 49 centimetres, picture series C.

If the tank is lower than 49 centimetres, cut the excess from the bottom edge. In background pictures the upper part is usually lighter and the lower darker, just as in water – taking away the bottom edge keeps that order, where cutting the top would turn the picture upside down.

The same holds sideways: a central subject is best left in the middle of the tank.

The poster is double-sided and is fixed to the outer face of the glass.
