Tunze SmartController 7000.001
TUNZE SmartController 7000.001 provides centralized monitoring and control for freshwater, marine, and reef aquariums. Temperature, optional pH or redox measurement, automation rules, connected equipment, and notifications are managed through the browser-based TUNZE HUB interface.
A temperature probe is included. An optional pH or redox electrode can be connected according to the intended application. The standard measuring input is used for either pH or redox measurement, depending on the installed electrode.
Browser-based TUNZE HUB
The system is configured through a standard web browser. It is independent of the operating system and requires no separate drivers or installed desktop software.
Measurement data can be secured online and viewed remotely. The service uses redundant servers in different European locations. Communication is encrypted, including device-specific AES-256 encryption between the server and end device.
Fail-safe local operation
Internet access is required for configuration, remote access, notifications, and over-the-air updates. It is not required for normal operation, allowing configured control rules to continue locally during an internet outage.
An integrated real-time clock prevents programmed schedules from shifting following a power failure.
Temperature control
The included temperature probe provides continuous monitoring. With compatible switched sockets and equipment, SmartController can activate heaters, cooling equipment, or Aquawind fans according to defined temperature limits.
pH or redox monitoring
An optional electrode enables precise pH or redox measurement. pH monitoring can support freshwater carbon dioxide control, calcium reactor supervision, and daily reef aquarium monitoring.
Redox measurement provides information about oxidation-reduction conditions and may be incorporated into carefully configured control and notification routines.
The pH or redox electrode, electrode holder, calibration solutions, and cleaning products are sold separately.
Configurable automation
SmartController includes a fully configurable reaction system. Measured values, schedules, defined limits, equipment control, and notifications can be combined into automated routines.
The system can control up to:
- Four TUNZE switched sockets or valves
- Four TUNZE LED 8850 or Kessil 0–10 V lights
- Four TUNZE Turbelle electronic or compatible 0–10 V pumps
- Four TUNZE Aquawind fans
The exact combination depends on the connection cables, splitting cables, and accessories used.
