Aqua Medic Ocean Clear Roll Filter

Aquarium water passes through a fine filter fleece that captures suspended debris. As the fleece accumulates dirt, water resistance increases and the internal level rises. The sensor activates the motor, winding the dirty material onto the collection roller and exposing a clean section.

The automatic process maintains reliable mechanical filtration while reducing the work associated with cleaning or replacing conventional filter socks.

Installation

1. Disconnect sump equipment from power.
2. Confirm sufficient space for the filter and future roll changes.
3. Choose bypass or separate-pump operation.
4. Attach the adjustable bracket to the most suitable side.
5. Suspend the filter securely inside the sump.
6. Adjust the installation height according to the manual.
7. Install the level sensor.
8. Install the clean and collection rollers.
9. Route the fleece through the filter correctly.
10. Connect the bypass plumbing or separate pump.
11. Position the controller in a dry, splash-protected location.
12. Create drip loops in all electrical cables.
13. Start the water circulation.
14. Check for leaks and safe sump water levels.
15. Connect the Ocean Clear power supply.
16. Test manual and automatic fleece advance.
17. Monitor the system closely during initial operation.
