Aqua Medic Ocean Clear Fleece Roll

The Ocean Clear Fleece Roll provides continuous mechanical filtration in the Aqua Medic Ocean Clear. As the fleece becomes loaded with debris, water resistance increases and the filter’s level sensor activates the motor. Used material is wound onto the collection spool while clean fleece moves into the filtration area.

The original roll is sized for reliable movement through the Ocean Clear guides and drive mechanism.

Replacement

1. Disconnect the Ocean Clear from power.
2. Stop water flow through the filter.
3. Open the filter cover.
4. Remove the full used-fleece collection roll.
5. Remove the empty clean-fleece core.
6. Clean visible debris from the guides and water-level sensor.
7. Install the new fleece roll in the correct holder.
8. Route the fleece through the guides.
9. Attach the fleece to the collection spool.
10. Turn the collection spool several times by hand.
11. Confirm that the fleece runs straight without folds.
12. Restore water flow.
13. Reconnect the filter and test manual advancement.
14. Confirm correct sensor and motor operation.
