Salifert Aiptasia Exit 50ml

Aiptasia eXit is designed for the targeted control of unwanted glass anemones on reef rock, coral bases and other accessible surfaces. The product is applied with a syringe directly to the pest anemone.

Product information describes the treatment as reef safe when used correctly, but it may damage other invertebrates if injected into their tissue. Precise application and avoidance of surrounding corals, anemones, clams and other invertebrates are therefore essential.

Directions

1. Confirm that the target is an Aiptasia anemone.
2. Select no more than ten individuals for one day.
3. Prepare the applicator according to the package instructions.
4. Temporarily stop strong circulation and the return pump.
5. Approach the Aiptasia slowly.
6. Position the applicator at the oral opening.
7. Apply approximately 0.1–0.2 ml directly to the anemone.
8. Avoid contact with surrounding corals and invertebrates.
9. Allow the product to remain locally around the target.
10. Restart all circulation equipment after treatment.
11. Monitor the aquarium inhabitants.
12. Repeat later for any remaining Aiptasia.
13. Do not exceed ten treatments per day.
