Exoterra terrasky uv -UVB LED 9WATT bulb

A UVB LED bulb for terrariums, 9 W, E27 cap.

The bulb combines UVB, UVA and 6500 K LEDs, so it provides both a broad visible spectrum and UV radiation. The UVB gives a high D3 yield, which aids calcium absorption and prevents metabolic bone disease. UVA increases appetite, activity and reproductive behaviour and reduces stress.

The horizontal LED layout and wide beam cover a larger area than an ordinary point-source bulb. The base rotates through 300 degrees, so the beam can be aimed at the part of the terrarium you want.

The LED chips last up to 20,000 hours, more than four years – a fluorescent bulb is replaced yearly, this one is not.

Combination: the basking heat comes from a Daytime Basking Spot or an Intense Basking Spot according to the species' needs; with an Infrared Basking Spot you get heat around the clock.
