Hanna CAL Check Standards for HI97105

HI97105-11 provides a convenient quality-control procedure for compatible Marine Master photometers. One cuvette zeros the instrument, while two absorbance standards verify performance at the relevant wavelengths.

The photometer guides the user through the CAL Check procedure on its display. If the measured values fall outside the accepted limits, the user can repeat the validation, perform the instructed calibration or arrange servicing where necessary.

Directions

1. Check the expiration date.
2. Allow the standards and photometer to reach the same room temperature.
3. Open the instrument’s CAL Check function.
4. Remove the requested standard from its light-tight container.
5. Clean the outside with a lint-free cloth.
6. Do not open or shake the standard cuvette.
7. Insert the cuvette as instructed on the display.
8. Complete the measurement sequence with all requested standards.
9. Review the validation result.
10. Perform the guided calibration if required.
11. Repeat the check if an unexpected error occurs.
12. Return every standard to its original storage container after use.
