Hanna CHECKER Plus pH tester

Checker Plus is designed for simple direct pH measurement. Its large LCD, single-button operation and automatic buffer recognition make routine testing straightforward.

The supplied HI1271 gel-filled electrode is approximately 103 mm long and tapers to an eight-millimetre sensing end. The narrow design fits test tubes, vials and other containers with small openings.

Directions

1. Calibrate the tester with fresh pH buffer solution.
2. Use pH 7.01 for the first calibration point.
3. Use pH 4.01 or 10.01 for the optional second point.
4. Rinse the electrode with a small amount of the sample.
5. Immerse the glass bulb and electrode junction in the water.
6. Move the tester gently to release trapped air.
7. Wait for the stability indicator to disappear.
8. Record the result.
9. Rinse the electrode after use.
10. Store the electrode moist in proper electrode-storage solution.
11. Never store the pH electrode in RO, distilled or deionised water.
