Hanna Monitor pH/Marine Salinity/temp

HI981520 provides continuous local monitoring of three critical marine-aquarium parameters. It helps identify salinity changes caused by evaporation or top-off failure, abnormal day-night pH variation and heating or cooling problems.

The replaceable double-junction pH electrode is gel filled and housed in a chemically resistant PEI body. The attached conductivity probe includes an integrated temperature sensor for salinity measurement and automatic temperature compensation.

Installation

1. Mount the monitor vertically in a dry, visible location.
2. Connect the HI1286 pH electrode to the BNC socket.
3. Secure both probes in the same aquarium or sump chamber.
4. Keep both sensors continuously immersed.
5. Avoid placing the pH electrode next to dosing outlets.
6. Connect the included power adapter.
7. Calibrate pH with pH 7.01 and, when required, pH 10.01 buffer.
8. Calibrate salinity with fresh 35.00 ppt standard.
9. Select the preferred salinity and temperature units.
10. Configure high or low alarm thresholds.
11. Clean and recalibrate the probes regularly.
