Exoterra lämpömittari infrarödexoterra

A pocket-sized infrared thermometer that measures the temperature of a surface when you point it and press the button. The reading appears immediately on a large display.

In terrarium keeping the temperature that matters is the surface temperature, not the air: the surface of a basking rock can be tens of degrees hotter than the air. This thermometer gives you that reading from the basking site, from inside a hide, from a hibernation space, from an incubation medium or straight off the animal.

To measure a gradient: hold the button down and the thermometer keeps reading, then release it to freeze the last measurement on the display.

A small LED targeting light shows the spot being measured and the diameter of the measured area. It also helps in poor light: inside hides, behind branches or under leaves.

The display unit is selectable (°C or °F). Auto shut-off after 15 seconds. Two AAA batteries are included.
