A replacement part for the Exo Terra Light Bracket: a self-adhesive support base that is fixed to the back or side glass of the terrarium and takes the bracket rod.

Preparing the glass decides how well the bond holds. The surface temperature at the time of application must be between 16 and 29 °C. Wash the area with warm water and liquid detergent, rinse and dry completely. Finish with a 50/50 alcohol and water wipe using a clean, lint-free cloth.

Installation: loosen the screw at the back of the support base and remove the bracket. Position the base with the protective backing still on and mark the spot – the position cannot be changed once it is affixed. Remove the backing, fit the base within the marked area and make sure no air bubbles remain under the tape.

Let the bond cure for 24 hours before inserting the bracket or suspending a fixture. After that, insert the bracket, adjust the height and tighten the screw.

Mounting the fixture: remove the first rubber washer, slide the ring of the fixture's support over the rod, then replace the washer so that the support is held tightly between the two rubber stoppers. The position is adjusted by moving the washers.

Make sure the lamp's focal point is not above any plastic parts of the terrarium or the screen cover, to prevent damage.
