Exo Terra Moss Ball

The Moss Ball is a filter medium shaped like a ball of moss, for the water part of an aqua-terrarium.

Inside the ball is an absorption resin that traps phosphate, nitrite and nitrate. These are the compounds that build up in the water from waste and leftover food and feed algae and odour. Removing them keeps the water clear and reduces the smell.

Use: place the ball in the water part of the terrarium. Replace it with a new one about every two months, depending on the water volume. One ball treats a 30 to 60 litre terrarium.
