White filter mat for the sera fil bioactive external filters, two pieces per pack.

What it fits: according to the manufacturer's spare parts list, the fil bioactive 250, 250 + UV and 400 + UV models. The smaller 130 models of the range have their own mat in a different size – this is not it.

What it does: the white mat is the finest mechanical layer of the filter. Water reaching it has already been cleared of coarse dirt, and the mat catches what still clouds it. It is a consumable: when the mat darkens and the flow drops, it is replaced.
