Exoterra day & night LED 3W 22 vita/2 sininen LED

An LED fixture for terrariums, 3 W: 22 white and two blue LEDs. A self-adhesive support base is included.

The fixture is intended for species with no UVB requirement: snakes, nocturnal geckos, frogs, newts, salamanders, spiders, scorpions and insects.

Day and night are switched by touching the Day/Night button. The white LEDs give bright daylight; the dim light of the blue LEDs is enough for a nocturnal animal to find prey and a mate. In complete darkness these animals are entirely disoriented.

Heat: a conventional bulb wastes more than 80% of its energy as heat. An LED produces light and almost no heat. That reduces the risk of overheating in summer and lets the temperature drop naturally at night.

The LEDs consume little energy and last far longer than incandescent or fluorescent bulbs.
