A plant growth LED bulb for bioactive and planted terrariums, 8 W, E27 cap. The bulb is self-ballasted, so it needs no separate ballast.

The 6500 K colour temperature corresponds to unfiltered sunlight in the canopy of a tropical forest. That is where orchids, bromeliads, tillandsias, carnivorous plants, mosses and lichens live.

The spectrum contains blue, green and red plus traces of far-red. That combination regulates the growth rate and colouring of leaves, stems and roots and also promotes flowering.

The base rotates through 300 degrees, so the wide beam can be aimed exactly where you want the plants to grow.

The high visible light output also supports the animals' well-being and lets them perceive the colours of their environment naturally.

Combine the bulb with a UVB bulb matching your species' UV requirement (Reptile UVB100, UVB150 or UVB200). It suits the Exo Terra Compact Top well.
