NYOS Phosphate REEFER Test Kit is designed specifically for accurate phosphate measurement under marine-water conditions. It helps reef keepers monitor nutrient trends and adjust feeding, phosphate-removal media, refugium operation, water changes, and biological nutrient management.
The sliding comparator positions the reacted sample and reference water together against a calibrated colour scale. This arrangement helps improve colour matching and reduces the influence of the aquarium water’s own coloration.

Testing instructions
- Rinse the sample tubes with aquarium water.
- Fill the tubes according to the enclosed instructions.
- Add the reagents in the specified order and quantity.
- Hold the dropper vertically to produce consistent drops.
- Mix the sample as instructed.
- Observe the specified reaction time.
- Place the sample and reference tubes into the comparator.
- Compare the colour under neutral white light.
- Move the comparator until the colour fields match.
- Read and record the phosphate concentration.
- Rinse the tubes immediately after use.
- Store the reagents closed, dry, and protected from light.
