ATI T5 Blue Plus is a high-output blue T5 fluorescent tube for marine and reef aquariums. It combines blue light at approximately 460 nm with actinic violet-blue light around 420 nm, producing strong fluorescence and a crisp blue appearance. The tube provides useful light output for corals and can be used in multi-tube T5 fixtures or as a supplement to LED and metal-halide lighting.

ATI Blue Plus is designed to enhance fluorescent pigments, deepen blue coloration and balance yellow or washed-out aquarium lighting. Its broad, linear light source provides even coverage and helps reduce shadows created by point-source LEDs.

The tube is suitable for SPS, LPS, zoanthid and mixed-reef aquariums. It may be combined with ATI Coral Plus, Aquablue Special, Purple Plus or True Actinic tubes to create the preferred colour balance.

  4. Remove the old tube without twisting the fixture sockets.
  5. Inspect the G5 sockets, seals and reflectors.
  6. Install the new tube evenly at both ends.
  7. Refit all splash-protection components.
  8. Reconnect the fixture and confirm normal operation.
  9. Clean salt and mineral deposits regularly.
  10. Replace the tube at approximately 8–12-month intervals in demanding reef use.
