Hanna Dist 3 pocket conductivity (EC) to 1999 uS/cm tester

HI98303 DiST 3 measures electrolytic conductivity and displays the result directly in µS/cm. Conductivity reflects the combined effect of dissolved ionic substances but does not identify individual minerals or nutrients.

The meter is useful for preparing consistent freshwater, monitoring remineralisation and detecting gradual changes caused by evaporation, fertilisation, mineral dosing or changing source-water quality.

Directions

1. Calibrate the current model with fresh 1413 µS/cm standard.
2. Rinse the sensor with a small amount of the sample.
3. Switch the meter on.
4. Immerse the probe without exceeding the maximum immersion mark.
5. Move the tester gently to release trapped air bubbles.
6. Wait for conductivity and temperature to stabilise.
7. Record the result after the stability indicator appears.
8. Rinse the graphite sensor with purified water after use.
9. Do not allow mineral or nutrient residue to dry on the sensor.
10. Replace the protective cap before storage.
