Glamorca Activated Carbon Filter is the original activated-carbon replacement cartridge for the Glamorca RO1 reverse-osmosis system. It reduces chlorine, volatile organic compounds, pesticides, herbicides and other chemical contaminants before the water reaches the RO membrane. Regular replacement protects the membrane and helps the RO1 maintain consistent purified-water production
The activated-carbon cartridge forms part of the Glamorca RO1 pre-filtration system. It treats water after sediment filtration and before the later carbon, membrane and deionisation stages.
The porous activated carbon adsorbs chemicals that are not removed by a mechanical sediment filter. Its most important function is reducing chlorine and organic contaminants that could damage the thin separation layer of the RO membrane.

Activated carbon versus carbon block
The Glamorca RO1 uses two separate carbon cartridges:
- Activated Carbon Filter, LS-ACF: removes VOCs, pesticides, herbicides, chlorine and other harmful chemicals.
- Activated Carbon Block Filter, LS-CBF: provides a second carbon stage that further reduces chlorine and organic contaminants before the membrane.
Always confirm the cartridge code and installation position before replacement. [sewatec.com], [akvareef.lt], [whitecorals.com]
