Glamorca Deionization filter

The Glamorca Deionization Filter polishes RO-membrane water by removing remaining electrically charged dissolved substances. Its mixed ion-exchange resin captures positively charged cations and negatively charged anions before the product water leaves the RO1 system.

This final treatment is particularly beneficial for reef aquariums where residual silicate, nitrate, phosphate and metals may interfere with water-quality management.

Replacement

1. Close the feed-water valve.
2. Disconnect the RO1 system from power.
3. Release internal pressure according to the manual.
4. Unlock and remove the old DI cartridge.
5. Confirm that the replacement cartridge is model LS-DS.
6. Install it in the fifth filtration position.
7. Turn the cartridge until completely locked.
8. Open the feed water slowly.
9. Check carefully for leaks.
10. Flush the new cartridge according to the system instructions.
11. Discard the initial flushing water.
12. Monitor the LCD TDS reading.
13. Use the water only after TDS has stabilised at the required level.
14. Reset the filter-service indicator when required.
