The double hanging kit combines two compatible Chihiros A Series lights into one suspended lighting arrangement. Positioning the lamps side by side improves light coverage across the front and rear sections of a wide aquarium.

The system is particularly useful when one narrow light leaves shaded areas or does not provide sufficient coverage for demanding planted and aquascaping displays.

Adjusting the suspension height changes the intensity and spread of the light. A lower installation provides stronger, more concentrated illumination, while a higher installation blends the output of both lights over a wider area.

Installation

1. Disconnect both lights from power.
2. Confirm compatibility with the hanging kit.
3. Remove the original light supports.
4. Install the double-light holders.
5. Position both lights parallel to one another.
6. Adjust the spacing according to aquarium depth.
7. Tighten the fittings evenly without overtightening.
8. Measure and mark the overhead mounting point.
9. Confirm that the supporting structure can carry the complete weight.
10. Use anchors suitable for the ceiling or shelf material.
11. Attach the suspension cable securely.
12. Support the complete lighting assembly during installation.
13. Connect the lights to the suspension cable.
14. Adjust the required height.
15. Confirm that the assembly is balanced and level.
16. Check every cable lock and screw.
17. Route both power cables without tension.
18. Create drip loops in the cables.
19. Inspect the suspension system regularly.
